Your, You're and etc.

So one thing that really really really bothers me is when people don't know how to spell, or when they don't use the right words.
First of all, every computer has spell check, so if you're typing something, then you have no excuse.

Anyways, the most common mistake I see is people who don't know the difference between your and you're.

Your is to be used when you are talking about someone's something.
Example: "Laura, your hair looks nice today!"
Laura's hair looks nice.

You're is to be used when talking about someone.
Example: "Laura, you're looking nice today!"
Laura is looking nice today.
You're = You are.

Another thing is "mines".
"Mines" does not exist!
"Mines" makes you sound like an idiot.

"Hey, don't touch that phone, it's mines."
Noooooooooooooooooooo!
It's not mines, it's mine!!!
"Hey, don't touch that phone, it's mine."

Ok, "no" and "know".

No is when you don't want something.
It's the opposite of yes.
It's an answer to a question.
"Do you want anything to drink?" "No, I don't want anything to drink."

Know is knowledge.
"Hey, the sky is blue!" "Yes, I know."

Seen and saw.
"I seen that shirt before."
WRONG!!
"I saw that shirt before."
The only time you can say you've "seen" something is if you say "I have" before it.
"I have seen that shirt before."

There are many other things I can use as examples, but right now I am distracted by my TV, so I'm going to end this blog here.
Feel free to comment on any other common mistakes you find.

Buying everyone in the world a dictionary,
